I was a huge Kings fans in the early 2000's.
But, that was because of Webber.
He is my favorite NBA player of all time.
Memorable years with that short rivalry. And now that Shaq is a part owner of the Kings, perhaps it will be re-kindled.
hated...that...cat...
that is all...
Man those Kings teams were fun to watch and the Lakers/Kings games at the time were absolutely epic. It's a shame the Kings fell off shortly after, because there was a real rivalry brewing.
I loved the Kings fans response to Phil calling Sacramento a "cow town" too. I'll bet he still hear those cowbells.
Yep. It's a shame that asshole ref fixed the game. I would've loved to see an actual head to head between those teams and would've been interested who would've won. I'm happy that ref got put in jail. I will always think the NBA is rigged in a way.

Ah...man...in 1991 I was in the Navy and Stationed in Misawa Japan.
We had exactly 1 American Station and it was the Armed Forces Network.
As you can imagine, sports dominated the programming.
Being young and in the middle of nowhere, there was nothing to do, sans breed, drink, fight and gamble....sometimes at the sametime!
Office pools were in the thousands...
On a blind draw out of of a hat, I pulled the Michigan Wolverines....
Up until that point, I had never watched a NCAA basketball game in my life.
Needless to say, it was the start of a beautiful fandom for me and CWeb
Ahh, the Navy. Well THAT explains a lot...
* stares in stunned silence*
How dare you, Sir!

This topic was worthy of a thread?
I smell a troll....
I think what he means is that most of the games have at least been close, last year it was common to see the Lakers down by 20 for the entire game. Still, a bit of a stretch to say that an 0-5 team can be "exciting", the games have been close, but I'm pretty sure you have to win one in order to excite anyone.
