Looks as though we get win number three of the preseason before we go to Vegas to play the Queens.

What a game! Five Lakers in double figures and lots of positives. Good D as well. On we go...

Davis leads preseason in field goal percentage...Kobe will sit out last 2 preseason games. As far as Kobe goes this is good for the team, nice to see scott resting kobe and nice for the team to work without him and get some attention.

The last two games were very good to be honest. All it took was one made free throw by Johnson and the Lakers would have beaten Phoenix too.

Excited to see Randle, Davis and Lin leading the 2nd unit.

Looking at Wesley a little closer he reminds of Devean George, just a little more athletic & more lenghty.

Wesley has the potential for more of an upside IMO. We shall see.

Like it's been said, the main problem with Wesley is his confidence. Once he gets that under control he could be a very valuable player for us!

With his athleticism and speed, he could be a Michael Cooper level defender and destroy teams from the wing on the break. But, like you said, he just needs the confidence to do it.

The man can jump and needs to work on his O and shot selection but yep, I like the potential to be the next Michael Cooper.

Wes tried to dunk the ball on a play last night that normally he would have attempted a layup. He missed the dunk but got fouled. He showed more aggression than usual. Maybe he's turning the corner after working with Kobe all summer.

agreed. imo a lot of his offensive development was scaled back in D'Antoni's system. maybe under Byron he can raise his aggressiveness "quotient"...

And that is big for him, imo. Last season, we were all impressed with his obvious athleticism, but frustrated by his lack of aggression when going to the hoop. With his hops, he should be looking to put guys on a poster, not trying to lay the ball in.

with the skill set he has he should drive to the basket a helluva lot more than he does. if nothing else he'd get a lot of foul call opportunities...

and let's face it, with his small hands he better stick to 2-handed dunks...

Yep. In addition to his hops, the dude is quick as a blink and fast.

And yes, he definitely needs to use the 2 handed dunk.

I have a feeling Lin comes off the bench. Lin/Clarkson/Young/Randle/Davis could be good. We could be looking at future. Both Lin and Davis are still pretty young. It's going to be a fun bench to watch anyway.

Although Lin is the better player, I like Price starting at PG. His defense will help balance out old man Kobe's!

i hear what you're saying, but with Nash outta the mix i get the feeling Lin's gonna be the man. we'll see of course...
