I swear to %$@!# Open shot in the circle with 10 secs left and instead of putting it on net, they try to force a pass to the slot.

They keep this up and it'll be first round and out (if they even get to it).

This is going to be a lot harder home stand than it should be. Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago and Columbus. Then thankfully the Olympic break. Go USA!

I think the Kings will get a goal this period, which will be huge because that will be 2 days in a row with a goal. I thought they were bad when they could only get 2 goals in a 3-2 league

I did not realize the Kings are leading the league in minor penalties(if that's what I just heard the announcers say), hard to get offensive rhythm if your down a man all the time.

The Kings only have 2 legitimate forwards that can score. Dumbo needs to do something.

Trading Brown wont get you anything right now. He is coming off injury/still injured, not producing and new big contract....I think that ship sailed

Yes, the 11 regular season goals Penner gave the Kings in 2.5 years does look huge right now

Yup. The time to move Brown was last year, I sensed him kind of "maxing out" in 2012 when the Kings won the Cup. He has been below average/average since that Cup run.

He may be tradeable in 4 years, in the third year of this new deal but right now he is a massive contract liability. The Kings should have waited to see how he performs this year before handing out that contract based on how poorly he performed last year.

PS - this team sucks ass. Something needs to be done - I think I saw the Kings are like 5-10-5 in their last 20; they are going to fall out of the playoff race real quick here and will once again have to scratch and claw their way into the playoffs where as the talent, on paper, shouldn't let that happen.

I'm telling you guys, he was the missing piece. Not because of offense, or lack there of, but because of his size, a natural LW and he helped balance the lines out. He was able to win a ton of board battles because of his size and do things that allowed Richards and Carter opportunities.

The Kings should have signed him for the same $3 million they gave him, although from everything I have read it doesn't seem like it was a money thing with him. He wasn't happy in LA with himself or his role and unfortunately it affected his numbers.

I've got no answers and apparently neither does Sutter but 23 goals in the last 14 games is completely unacceptable.

In all seriousness, Dumbo is going to tell Sutter that he pretty much had the same non-scorers when they hired him, and somehow he made it work to win the cup. It's all on Sutter and his lines combos to get it going. It's his stubbornness that frustrates me, and it can't be spreading cheer around the locker room.
