It means that they weren't better than this team, which is what I said.
Well this is true to some degree. But with the team we're talking about I can't believe you believe that those old men were better. That's not true. Just because you have an old team means you can't be better than a team with a younger roster? That is stupid logic
Underachieving and cursed are Clippers trademarks. lol
The Dodgers are depressing me. Might have to flip to the Clippers game to cheer myself up.
Slow start for them again. Hopefully, they'll start putting it together like they did last year.
Oh yeah, I'm not worried in the long run. They're putting guys on base, just not driving them in in the games they've lost and the wins are blowouts. You gotta believe Maeda and Ryu won't be this bad all year and McCarthy has been about as good as the Dodgers could have hoped for. Then you got Stripling and Wood prepared to shoulder some of the load if necessary and Urias waiting to get called up at some point this season. Looks like the bullpen will be the best the Dodgers have had in recent memory. It's going to be a good year for sure, just been a painful stretch with RISP lately.
More worried about the Rockies at this point because they have a nice lineup of young, talented players. Their issue will be the starting pitching.
Agree. The only things that concern me at this point are that they are still allergic to lefties and Mister Blister Rich Hill. Agree re: the bullpen except that someone needs to shoot Hatcher. Puig has been looking like he might be figuring some things out. Hopefully that continues. Dude is ridiculously talented.
Blake's injured.
In other news, waters wet.....
