Keenan Allen is healthy again which is a big boost I guess. And if the reporter is thinking along the lines of Mike Williams was expected to be out for a while anyway so he didn't count maybe I could understand a little more. I guess for me though I don't consider the Broncos healthy at the pass rushing position just because I knew that Shane Ray was going to miss some games. I view that as the position being very thin beyond Shaq and Von. Same with Jake Butt missing time at the TE position on the NFI list. Booker sitting out doesn't bother me as much just because of the depth at the RB position.

Denver runs for over 100 yards means play action works, TS is able to take shots downfield and we can be optimistic at least for one week that they've fixed O line woes and Denver wins. If not, hello 2016 all over again. Hopefully O line and backs ball out tonight.

I appreciate you helping me out over there. It amazes me how many people just copy what a reporter reports without actually looking into it themselves. That person jsut copied word for word that reporter and seemed a bit shocked when it wasn't true.

Agree- Annoying when people doesn't use their own judgement or knowledge to talk football. Pay attention if you're gonna spout off on a message board or just sit back and lurk.

Love those BftB picks. Most of them are actually not all that unreasonable in terms of final score, but the rationale behind them may be flawed. You'll notice many of these guys assume Siemian is going to be awful. Their writers on Fansided's Boltbeat feel the same way. If the basis for their predictions is Siemian is "awful" they may be in for a big surprise. All he has to be is "capable" and a lot of these predictions are going to be proven wrong.

I never know what to expect in week 1, but I don't think Siemian is going to be awful. I also expect the Broncos are going to try to get that run game going early. It make take a couple drives to break through, but I think they can do it. I just hope this O-line is actually as improved as it appeared. They're definitely nastier than before and that's a step in the right direction.

Rivers has been a turnover machine against the Broncos and while Gordon didn't fumble as much last year he still has 7 fumbles through 2 years in the league. He does seem to have a knack for the big fumble. My biggest dream for this year is to see Jamal Charles just go crazy on the Chiefs. His fumble that helped us win that improbable Thursday night game was just so generous and I just want to see him continue to give Chiefs fans nightmares.

Yeah well if we're winless by time we play KC , I won't get any satisfaction out of it then. Let's hope he's healthy, been contributing nicely and the game actually means something.

That Chargers secondary can be had though. I just don't know that they'll attack it like they will on the ground. At some point this past off season I said we'd have a pass heavy offense with a run game that complemented it but now I think it may be the other way around. That physical and nasty we've been promised from the O-line translates batter to pass blocking. Couple that with the Chargers pass rush and the best remedy for a pass rush being running right at it and I think the team goes all in on the run.

I also recall you and I last year the morning of the Bengals game saying we weren't likely to see a 300+ yard 4 TD type game from Siemian and that very same day...

I'm playing Charles in one of my Fantasy Leagues. I've got DT in the other one. Charles is a pure lucky or unlucky wild card at this point. I do think they'll keep him on a low pitch count but who knows?
