Key matchup for Monday Night's matchup of the Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos? The Chargers elite edge rushing duo against the Broncos new offensive tackle pair. These two group battling each other could determine the outcome of the game.

Inside The Matchup: Denver Broncos Tackles vs. Los Angeles Chargers Edge Rushers

I think - if the Broncos can run inside and stop the run inside - that will determine the game. If the Broncos find themselves in too many passing situations - they will have to win in a shoot out.

We won't win if it becomes a shoot out with the Chargers. Also going to really freak out because means our D appears to have some holes and with our offense the way it is that is going to be a major problem.

If that is the case we just might have a shot at one top QB's.

I don't think that will be the case though. Unless our D gets hit by the injury bug.

Run the ball, short passes, lean on the defense. If run game is going, open up with pass game with some PA. Maybe more shotgun too on obvious pass plays just to give Siemian a bit more time. Chargers edges are legit

I echo this.

O line certainly has dominated #1, 3 and 4 recently for sure. I guess you could add # 2 also. They had a lot of assists anyway. :)
Wow Crash got it. Apparently Mr. Bullshit is a tad sloooooooow. ;)

I think the way Charles is being used is great. Limited snaps is great for a guy at his age and with an injury history like him. For the Broncos it sets up the defense keying on him when he is in (decoy) - or trying to play it straight - and blamo Charles gets the ball in space and has a chance at a dynamic play. Either way - when Charles is in - the defense has to adjust for him - that is always an advantage for the offense.

If the Broncos show an ability to run the ball or to be dynamic with the ground game - Siemian will be at his best in play execution - with a defense in its heals. With a good ground game - this Broncos team is easily a double digit win team.

Absolutely they are. The defense alone is good enough to get them to 8-8 even if we see a repeat of last year's offense. If we see some improvement over last year's offense getting over the hump to 10-6 or 11-5 isn't too big a stretch.

Reading the predictions is fun right now. I've seen a couple predict the team will be a wild card, and one prediction they'll win the division but most have them out of the playoffs.

Ingram and Bosa worry me. Like said above, if Broncos get in 2nd - 3rd and long too many times , those two will wreck havoc. Here's to a strong run game for TS sake. :)

The Chargers are going to have their moments in this one. That defensive front 7 is pretty solid and has a chance to be downright dominant in the right situation. Going up against what appears to be an improved but still unproven Broncos O-line, they may go for broke and unleash a relentless attack on defense.

I'm less worried about their offense lighting up the scoreboard. Our pass rush won't be full up but the Chargers O-line doesn't appear to be that great. They should be able to get to Rivers. The Chargers will probably test our run defense a lot early in the game, and Rivers is the kind of QB who always keeps his team in it so it's important the pass rush gets home.

I don't expect us to run away with this one. I picked a win of 24-17 for the Broncos. I can't wait to see what this team looks like. With so many changes and new faces it's not like previous years where we just knew we were winning in week 1 by putting up 30+ points. I'd love to see everything just click but the realist in me sees this team winning a 1-score dogfight.

Looking at the depth chart from the official site we've got Wolfe/Peko SR./Gotis on the D line with nothing behind them other than DE Shelby Harris because Krick and Kerr are out. So with the open spot do we call up Jarrett from the PS for a game to at least have a back up DE and a back up DT? Do we call up a PS OLB and have DeMarcus play at DE for depth and use a bigger DE in the middle on some plays? I think we did that last year when we lost Kilgo and ended up with seventeen Long Snappers and forty two WR's on the roster.

I like Harris. Think he'll fill in good.

Yup. I think they found a really good player. But we need more than those four guys on the D-Line.
Yes Sir. At least we have the guys , when the others get healthy, for some good depth. I'm more worried about O line starters going down ' cause we got NOOOO depth there.

Ugh. I don't even want to think about O-Line depth. I'm still waiting to see who they are going to trot out at LG on Monday.
