trust me, the "bonehead" knows the options are limited. however he ALSO knows a clown or two when he sees one...

i'd rather have players who are a tad more reliable...

For the minimum...who? I mean there are other options out there but you need experience and playoff experience on that bench somewhere. He can still shoot and is a decent defender.

russell is getting AT LEAST 25M per year.

The Lakers would have LeBron, Russell, Davis, Kuzma, and a bunch of league min. guys with no draft capital for years to come. Itll be interesting---that certainly would give them a shot depending on the rest

but I have seen rumors that Pelinka would sign Jr Smith and Carmelo Anthony. lol.

yeah I wouldn't be thrilled with a DLo acquisition if its a max.

Only Harden and Westbrook had a higher usage than Dlo last season. It puts his production into perspective.

well, IF we get Dloading we'll see who's left out there. my thing with J.R. is it isn't like this is the only time he's ever screwed up badly in a game...

Here is a solid list. Minimum guys are most likely the ring chasers but I'm sure other players could be open to it.

I think KD is staying in GS or in Brooklyn. I think he is down to two teams but really we don't know bc he is so off the wall. I really don't see why he would go to NY at this point, it doesn't make much sense tbh

I don't know why he would rehab with Golden State if he immediately went to NYC after his injury. If his doctors are there (and there has been some question as to whether he's happy with the Warriors' team physician), why not go to NYC now? Even if Golden State is willing to trade him there after the fact, why weaken your surrounding squad next season with such a trade?

ehhh...it was more than just LeBron....he slammed the city on his way out the door and talked about how great Boston was....

and now he is slamming Boston on the way out the door and i am sure will talk about how great New Jersey is

He grew up in West Orange, NJ and rooted for the team as a kid. So, I'm guessing he's happy now. He never asked for Boston (they weren't on his list of trade destinations).

If he got max it would be about $8M less a year for DLo. Depending on their cap situation it would give them more flexibility but still not that much at all.

I believe he's eligible for the 25% max, which is $27.25M.

But, some of those youngsters regressed after the impressive playoff run from the previous season.

They didn't take returning to their previous roles very well, with infighting over minutes. There was a lot of blame thrown at the head coach for playing Irving and Hayward so much. Irving didn't deserve that, as he had possibly his best statistical season as a pro to date. Hayward wasn't bad, but isn't all the way back yet.

Cap space? They'd have to find somewhere to dump Gallo.
If they can land those two they would find a way to dump him

The battle for LA would be epic

so what are you saying? you think that Kyrie going to Brooklny will instantly cause him to morph into a good leader and not a weirdo?

Is this a shopping list, lol? I'll take George Hill, Marcus Morris, Jevale (or Noel), and would see who would take the MLE out of Beverley, Ross, Curry, Dedmon, etc. JR and Korver would be in the mix as fall backs after the aforementioned wings.

Why not read what I wrote, instead of trying to twist what I said to fit your b.s.? He would be HAPPY. That's all I said, home with a new team and a fresh start.

What is it with these Cavs fans and their agendas?

Maybe he's saying he'll be less weird playing for his 'hometown' team

Pretty sure KD is $38M/year and Kawhi is $35M/year. That would put them about $10M over the cap or so, still over if KD's is $35. They would have to move Gallanari

Yeah at first he was happy in Boston and he was talking about how great the city was...but when push came to shove he went back to his old self. Over time if he doesn't get what he wants, doesn't like his teammates, etc. it could be the same old routine. yes, you are right he will be happy bc he chose the team but that still isn't a long-term solution for this enigma.

i have no clue what the fuck "happy" even means--- if it corresponds to him being a better leader and not a weirdo--- then great---- but i could give a fuck about his happiness if he is sitll going to be a shit leader and a nut job.

if him being "happy" actually means he is better for his team- then sure----- all for it.

My point was, that as soon as he left cleveland he talked shit, and said how great Boston was, and now leaving Boston was he is calling up radio shows and hated the city and hated the coach that everyone else seems to revere etc....and i am sure will kiss Brooklyns ass.

you think anyone would be surprised if a couple years from now hes traded and hits brooklyn and the team and the coach , blah blah blah on the way out of town? I sure wouldnt be.

kyrie sounds like some freshman at a liberal arts school who just took his first philosophy class and all of a sudden is sure that he is a deep thinker. He should be slapped.
