Isiah is gonna be fucking pissed too.
Look at what they lost.Boston added Heyward, Tatum, and Irving (he's a better payer than IT).....scoring was their big issue in the postseason. Not now.
This is a fair deal for both sides. Kyrie is an upgrade over IT but it will hurt them losing defensive depth with Crowder (especially against the Dubs). They still have the LA pick so they are still set up ok long term.
This is a fantastic get for the Cavs post Lebron. IT is basically 80% the player Kyrie is, you get his bird rights, a versitle player in Crowder, and the potential 1 pick that could be a franchise guy like Bagley. Plus you are still just as good as you were for this season.
A+ CLE
A- Bos
#Bomb4Bagleyoh God...
this hsould be interesting.
Ive never rooted for a team who is the favorite in their conference but also will be one of the favs for the #1 pick.....
Imagine somehow that pick comes through---the fucking value that it will hold will be immense...whether they keep it or deal it.
this will make for a bad ass rivarly thoughHonestly,
This is an F for Boston.
Kyrie is the same player as IT. He is better, but not by much and they do the same things. You give up Crowder and the Nets pick for a marginal upgrade? I get that Kyrie is under contract for 2 years, but they always had the option to keep IT.
Sorry, Kyrie simply isn't that much better. This doesn't make Boston any better today.

I told him he misunderstood---- Kyrie was dealt- not LEBron....Wrong.
What a shit deal for Boston
why not see where it comes in and trade it for a stud and have Thomas, LEBron, Love and Stud you get for a top 3 pick?
I mean shit- George would be a Celtic right now if Danny would have given them a top 3 pick. ????
I mean- i get what yo uare saying-- if LeBron leaves that jump starts the rebuild--- but if he stays trade it for a stud and resign Thomas.
and you have Crowder forever- who at the very least- if LeBron goes is a nice trade chip.
I mean--- id rather Kyrie not have been crazy---- but its hard for me to imagine the Cavs getting a better package than a guy who will replace 80% of his produciton- a 3 and D wing they badly needed on a long term cheap contract- and a guaranteed lotto pick.
Boston in this supposed deal is getting the better part of this deal. Kyrie is just as bad of a defender as IT, but he's much harder to guard. Crowder was expendable as soon as Boston got Heyward. He'll be a suitable replacement for Shumpert in the playoff rotation. It will be interesting to see which pick is given up to Cleveland though.
Remember how you rode Laker fans for going through lottery life, and we said something to the effect of it happens to every team? Well, if Lebron bounces on you guys again...fuck i actually have to root for the Lakers not to suck now and be better than the Nets...lol.
what?IT will be 30 and Irving 25.
IT had a hip problem that kept him out of the playoffs.
Crowder is good....................not great.
This trade allows the Celtics to start Jalen Brown and tatum will get 20 minutes a game.
Brooklyn has improved and the pick may not be in the lottery. It could be the #1 pick.
Two possible scenarios......
Cleveland with IT, Crowder and Zizic supporting LBJ becomes a beast. They tear through the season and beat the Celtics in the Conference final. Move on and win the NBA title.
Boston finally has the scoring balance and rebounding they've lacked. Finish with the best record and beat Cleveland in the conference final. Take the Warriors to 7 and win or lose in OT.
Cleveland may be better than last year. The Celtics are certainly better than last year with heyward and Irving.
