Exactly what I was thinking. That 49ers D was at it's peak IMHO.
Without those KW fumbles we would have won the NFC.

In the Superbowl, Pats had a gimpy Gronk, and we could have beat the Pats in the Superbowl with our D and our O-line and Gore pretty much alone.

It was just a matter of time. I'm more concern if VD cannot play against the Saints. Saints had more first downs last week against the Cowboys than the leading receiver of the Niners last week. (Manningham 30 yards versus 40 1st downs). If VD can't play, Niners will lost by double digits.
