Well, I did not see that coming. Suddenly, I very much understand the Trevathan extension.

I liked Kwit over Trevathan. Mostly, because I thought Kwit was a secret and wouldn't cost much. I honestly thought Trevathan would get more money, despite being 30 in a week.

Kwit was very good this past season. However, he has only a half season track record of being good. If a team or two out there wants to pay him like a proven/elite ILB. Have at it fellas! So long, Nick.

Even if he does, I see him as a lesser Adrian Amos, relative to their positions that is. And Amos hardly set their defense on fire. And look at the cost for those services. If they want to do it again with Kwiat at possibly a higher cost, let em have at it. It's their budget, not ours.

Good signing for the Raiders. I liked Kwiat, and appreciated his play last year in particular. But again, if Trevathan is healthy, he'd head-n-tails better than Kwiatkowski, especially in a 3-4 alignment.
