My prediction is Kobe Bryant will return to play basketball in the NBA somewhere down the line. Think he comes out of retirement to play one more time.
well I missed it toolol Completely missed that.
The first thing I saw was Kober Bryant and said WTF?
I think he is done - Father time is undefeated and very clearly - his body was preaching long sermons about wearing down. Barkley said it best - If you stay long enough - there absolutely will be injuries because your body will break down. I think Kobe is happy with his new life. His girls are at an age where he can spend quality time with them at a critical age, he has developed a routine and he has business dealings to occupy his time. He has already been offered jobs in the executive office by Pelinka and Johnson and He turned them down flat out. He likes his new lifeI very seriously doubt it. I'd be beyond shocked.
For one, he tore his Achilles and never was able to regain anything close to the level he was at before the injury. He showed flashes here and there, but nothing close to consistently.
Also, I doubt his ego would allow it. He isn't the type to want to be some role player trying to ride some teams coattails to a ring or just pad his stats coming off the bench for some bad team looking to put butts in seats.
If Kobe returns to the NBA, it will likely be as an executive for the Lakers.
I will say, however, that there is a chance he may play in Europe at some point. He used to say that after his NBA career, he'd probably play over there for a few years. I don't know if the Achilles injury changed that though.
I think it is about as likely that Wilt Chamberlain is going to return to the NBA as it is Kobe Bryant will.

I started to respond to this earlier, then thought no, this has to be a joke or there is massive alcohol involved. Kobe thinks he is an Academy Award winning film maker or something now, and he was way done anyway.
This thread reminds I need to get more weed. Almost out
