I was going to do an Mj vs Lebron Finals comparison, but I think the Lebron fans would've been too humiliated to respond...(I'll save that for a later day)...But to give you a small taste on how poorly lebron holds up I'll say this. In 18 finals games so far, Lebron has only scored over 30 points 2 times in 18 tries. Jordan, once averaged over 40 points in a 6 game finals series against the Suns....

But instead of embarrasing Lebron fans with an MJ finals comparison, let's do a Lebron/Kobe comparison. Both Kobe and Lebron have run into the Spurs multiple times in post season during their careers. And at similar ages, (not identical but close).

Kobe played the Spurs in the playoffs as a 22 year old in 2002, and Lebron played the Spurs in 2007 as a 24 year old. Kobe also played the spurs as a 29 year old in 2008, and Lebron now is 28...So let's look at those 2 series.

First Lebron 2007 Cavs/S.A finals

Game 1,

Lebron 4-16, 7 rebs, 4assts, 6 turnover 14 pts

Game 2 9-21 7, 6assts, 6 turnovers pts 25

Game 3, 9-23, 8rebs, 7assts, 5 turnovers, 25 pts

Game 4, 10-30, 6 rebs, 10 asts, 6 turnovers, 24 pts

and now

Game 1 6-17, 18 pts

Game 2 7-16 17 pts

Game 3, 7-21, 15 pts

So that's an average of 19 pts on 36 pct shooting and a 1-6 record...Not too good...

Now lets look at Kobe starting in 2001 at age 22 when Shaq supposedly carried Kobe.

Game 1 Western Conference Finals
Kobe -19-35 shooting, 10 rebs, 3asts, 45 pts.

Game 2 11-24 shooting, 7 rebs, 6asts, 28 pts

Game 3 14-27, 9rebs, 8 asts, 36 pts

Game 4, 10-19, 2 rebs 9 asts 24 pts...
That's a 34 pt average..Notice how Kobe was Carried by Shaq as a 22 year old..

Now Kobe age 29 against Spurs
Game 1 Kobe 11-21, 5 rebs, 9 asts, 27 pts

Game 2 10-17, 5 rebs, 5 assts, 22 pts

Game 3, 13-23, 5, 5, 30 pts

Game 4, 14-29, 10 rebs, 1 asts, 28 pts

Game 5 16-30, 3 rebs, 3 asts, 39 pts...

29.5 avg,

So that leaves Kobe at 8-1 vs the spurs with a 32 pt average shooting over 50 pct....And that leaves Lebron at 1-6 record, 19 pt average shooting 36 pct.....Hm, I wonder who the better player is?

I'll go with the guy with the 8-1 record against the spurs, while averaging 32 pts, and shooting 50, over the guy who's 1-6 with a 36 pct shooting avg..

This is about as fair as a comparison you can do. Taking 2 players, at almost identical ages, and having them go heads up in playoff competition against the same team.

No wonder Kobe has 5 rings, and Lebron has 0 legit rings.

peace!!

I figured the Lebron lovers would have no comment on this since it's so embarrassing.

He also conveniently left out Kobe's numbers in the 1999 sweep.

Wrong again. If you know how to read you would see that I compared Kobe and Lebron vs the Spurs in the playoffs at similar ages...Duh, Duh..

That is convenient for you and Kobe. Nice try, but anyone can post random shit and make it look good.

I like the troll attempt, you put some creativity into this one. Good effort!

You talking about when he was padding his stats in garbage time?

He still had a good game without padding his stats though.

Stop listening to that clown Skip Bayless. Before the game out of hand he had 26 points. Please don't give me that garbage.

Are you trying to say 26 points on a damn good shooting % is now bad?

Skip flip-flopped on his own prediction lol. LeBron was aggresive and had a good game. Ginobli stunk it up and Parker was nonexistant in the 2nd half. Still 2-3 to go.

Wade was great. Did he take extra roids before the game? Do they work that quickly?

I posted about him padding his stats right after the game on thursday. Skip didnt come on until friday morning. So how am I listening to Skip again? He was right anyway.

And you need to read my post again, because you will see that I said Lebron had a good game before padding his stats.

Lebron is obsessed with his stats. If he's having a poor game statistically he won't come out of the game even if it's already decided. He stays in against third stringers to pad his stats.

Also notice if Lebron ever has the ball at the end of a quarter, he'll never take a half court shot. He'll either pass it at the buzzer, or purposely shoot it after the buzzer...He's done this his entire career. It's funny as hell.

Wrong. The stats speak for themselves. Kobe has always been the Spurs killer. That's because he doesn't freeze up against good teams like Lebron does...

Check out all Lebron's stats in the finals...They're terribe compared to his regular season stats...

And if you want to compare Lebron's finals stats to MJ, it's an utter embarrassment for Lebron..

But thankfully because of all these awful finals games from lebron we don't have to hear Lebron-Kobe comparisons or Lebron Mj comparisons. Lebron just falls way short.

You are the only bringing it up. It only means you are threatened by his greatness and his ability to be the best. One day you will admit and get it off your chest.
