I mean last night was all about Kobe & LeBron & a Bromance & Love-Fest! It went from feel-good story going to bed & waking up to tragedy! Literally a police officer called my family over to the squad suv at a Vietnamese parade and told us, “Kobe Bryant just died,” and we all started crying on the spot! Yes, it became embarrassing but everyone was crying! Vietnamese people, Mexicans, Blacks, the police officers... (I saw The Irishman & when Kennedy died it was like that, same thing, Men, women, & children & mobsters & Union toughs cried).

Now will they talk about it at Grammys all night? That’s a bummer! Like every award all night?!

Also why didn’t they cancel NBA games? Can always reschedule.

Totally forgot that Kobe was eligible for the Hall of Fame this year (most certainly was getting in 1st ballot). That's gonna be such a sad event.

And I've been thinking about what an odd set of circumstances to die when he did. Lebron passes him on the All Time Scoring List last night, many people spent the night honoring his career. He dies today. The Lakers next game is against the Clippers, an all LA game where you know a city will be unified in mourning. That's some crazy cosmic energy

Never been a fan of helicopters but heard this was Kobe way of transportation since he was a player

I remember taking my first helicopter ride in VietNam. When it banked to the right with the doors opened, I thought I would shit my pants.

So sad over Gianna too. She was just starting to enter public life more. By all reports, she was going to be quite the talented player. No doubt her dad's talents had been passed on. Kobe spent so much time coaching her and girl's basketball. He has done many things for the women's game over the years. The Bryants were going to be a force in women's basketball at all levels for years to come. What a loss.
