Looking at the roster there just seems like so many fit issues but whatever they are doing is working right now. Solid rebounding team, very good defensive team (actually the best opponent PPG right now which is crazy) and they take care of the ball.

All that thibs is doing is holding his players accountable. They are doing the little things that the arrogance of the league refuses to do. FUNDAMENTALS! Box out. Play hard at both ends. It’s pretty simple, some posters on here just don’t get!

last night’s performance by the Knicks , disgraceful. Every team now is zoning up on the Knicks , and thibs has no answer . They dont even try to get ball to Robinson, who is completely lost, running round like a fart in a windstorm. Ball handlers , dribbling from one side to the other, clueless on what to do. It’s embarrassing.

Last night's win here in SF against the Dubs was a nice surprise.
They were gonna win regardless if Draymond got tossed or not.

That said:
Knicks are 3.5 - 4.0 dogs tonight in Sacto.
But I do believe they'll TCOB and win this one too.

Not sure if Sunday's game in Portland will be cancelled though.

Also....I hope Melo at some point gets to end his career as a Knickerbocker back at MSG in the blue and orange.

thibs gets his players to play hard and earn their time on the court by what they do in practice and in game.

That is not at all what I said.

I said it is used as a rhythm breaker and that good teams use man as their base.

Last year there were a little over 5,000 possessions of zone defense across the NBA all season long.

Since teams average over 100 possessions a game, that isn’t very many.

And if you are seeing more zone in Knicks games, the reason is that opposing teams don’t think the Knicks can shoot.

They aren’t talented enough to sustain long winning streaks or 8-2 runs

heading in the right direction and anything close to a .500 record at the end of this season would be a huge step
At some point they need to hit on a lottery pick or bring in some elite talent
