Hey man, you finally got something right

I do loathe the man

He’s made a mockery of the NBA

How has he made a mockery of the league? Oh yeah your foolish flopping crusade. Stupidly pretending he's the only one that's ever done that.

You are so clueless.

"I do loathe the man"

Then you got some serious personal issues. Nobody in their right mind should ever hate an athlete, or anyone, that much.

"you finally got something right"

When talking about almost any NBA topic with you I'm often right pointing out your dumbfuckery. Does fire Thibbs ring a bell? And that's just one example.

For someone that's not an NBA fan you sure have a bizarre obsession with one player. And understand very little about how the league works. Here's another example of dumbfuckery from you. Elite players won't play for the Knicks because the N.Y. media is mean.

Coaching, what coaching?

What I watch is school yard basketball

Run up the lead and keep trying to run up lead instead of protecting lead

That’s why you see so many comebacks in games

No strategy whatsoever, which makes the game boring

And that’s why I posted theres more interest in College ball today then the pros

^^^Looks like someone took the extra strength retard pills today.^^^

Leflop, an incredible talent, is the most infukinsecure player I have seen

He did not need to put on an act to get a call, he had the refs in his pocket

See now?

And you claim I don’t have an open mind.

It has been proven through study that the drill Sargent model of coaching is simply not as effective as the partnership model.

It just isn’t.

If it were, you would still see it in the NBA.

And yes, good coaches can still hold players accountable without being all 1960 my way or the highway style.

Protecting leads?

There is a 24 second shot clock. You can’t just take the air out of the ball and kill clock until maybe the last few possessions. You have to keep playing offense and keep scoring. That is the best way to protect a lead.

Cmon man

It’s takes a lot to play D

Tires out the player

They don’t want to play it

Just want to hurl up 3 after 3

What’s % of 3’s throughout League?

BORING basketball

Jump shot is gone, turn around J ?

Uncontested set shot for 3 makes me lol everytime I see it.

What you fail to comprehend is that modern offenses are going after 2 shot types. Layups and open 3s.

They attack in transition and run offense to generate these shot types.

And unlike old school coaches, modern play style understands that most of the best scoring chances come early in the clock.

The Phoenix Suns with Nash were 1 of the pioneers of this style. Their philosophy was that the best shots either came early in transition or after getting some ball movement in half court.

So they preached getting their shots in under 7 seconds, or after 17.

You either attack right away before the defense is set, or you attack the paint, move the ball and get a look that way.

It isn’t simply jacking up random 3s. And the defense is trying. This style is just extremely difficult to defend.

And also…

The league average 3% is about 36%

Know what you would have to shoot from 2 point range to get the same expected point total?

54%

And once you factor in that the more the defense has to work to defend the 3 point line, the more open driving lanes become and the easier it is to get high percentage 2s.

There is a reason teams are shooting so many 3s. It would be stupid not to.

Thing that freaks me out is they often give up an open easy 2, with a sizable lead, and send it back out beyond the perimeter.

That’s greed ball

Unless it is a layup, percentages say take the 3.

It is not greedy, it is what analytics has taught players and coaches to do.

And those inside out 3s go in at a better percentage than the league average.

Baseball all about the HR

Basketball all about the 3

Football all about injury prevention

Hockey is still hockey with less fighting but still …
