Hart is NOT a starter, 6 th man at best

Thibs , not a coach for players like this

Ya go from being a contender, with no superstar players, a team with grit, to a team that’s gonna get to PS , healthy , but a 6 spot at best!

Knicks weren’t a real contender last year.

Good enough to win a series or two. Not good enough to win 4.

I'm genuinely curious how much Dolan had to do with the Towns deal...did he want a home town guy with a bigger name to market?

If the Knicks could rewind everything back to the RJ and Quickley trade for OG, but instead traded RJ for Derozan, and then did nothing else right up until this moment, they would have beaten Indy last year and made it to the ECF, and who knows after that.

Brunson, Quickly, Randle, Derozan, Hartenstein and bench of Jhart, Devincenzo, Deuce, Mitch when healthy, plus a ton of chemistry is better than

Brunson, Bridges, OG, KAT, Jhart and bench of Deuce and nobosy else plus zero first round picks for the next 5 years plus no cap space, and zero chemistry.

Knicks had something really good going last season and completl;y blew it. up. They'll still be good enough to make the playoffs as a 6 or 7 seed, and I guess anything can happen once in the playoffs, but i don't see them going to far. Anyway, jmo, I've been holding that in for a while.

Yes they were!!!

Not the conventional championship team ..

their hearts made up for what they were missing… and they had players who were clutch as hell !
.

look how far they got with serious injury!

Dam man, can you for once think outside the box!

They had heart.

But they were never going to beat the Celtics.

Therefor not a contender.

Don’t have to think outside the box in this. Pretty clear cut.

They played the celts tough durin reg season, which I get , ain’t no comparison

However, what the team did in PS without key players was magical

Did you graduate top of your clairvoyance class?

Its very sad

Last years team was so exciting, they were in almost every game they played

This team, will take some time to gel. Just don’t think they have enough. Defensively? matador D! Hard to watch

Nothing magical about beating the 6ers without Embiid and then losing to the Pacers.

Pacers were not that good.

In fact, Pacers were one of the weakest, if not the weakest conference finalist of the decade.

You been saying that you don’t even pay attention to the sport outside of Knick games.

And yet somehow you are the only one here who gets it?

makes sense.

It does make sense if you have the ability to have an open mind , you clearly dont

You dont even realize that what you post falls into what I have been sayin

The pacers, a team no one expected to get far did cause all the teams with superstars ain’t gettin it done, pampered puzzies, with all the drama they bring to a team , injuries, load mgmt, off court BS.

Man, had Durant just stayed in GS, they would have had a dynasty, instead he needed his own identity, and look wtf has happened to him and teams he’s played for since. We’ll never see a dynasty team again!

Once Leflop is gone, maybe the NBA gets back on track

The Pacers won a couple series because of circumstance.

And they were completely overmatched once they faced a team that actually was good enough to win a title.

That is not a contender to me.

Contenders are teams that actually have a chance to win the whole thing and don’t require a miraculous set of circumstance to do it.

Golden State had a dynasty. Durant was part of it. 4 titles and 6 Finals trips in 8 years qualifies.

And those circumstances arose because of what I been saying for the last 5 + years

Superstars , decide where they are playing, who they want to play with and when they want to play.

IT AINT WORKIN!

Only 1 team wins each year. So of course it isn’t going to always work.

But there isn’t a realistic pivot to take power back from players. Your Stone Age coaching model is gone for good. Just won’t work today.

Coaching, what coaching?

What I watch is school yard basketball

Run up the lead and keep trying to run up lead instead of protecting lead

That’s why you see so many comebacks in games

No strategy whatsoever, which makes the game boring

And that’s why I posted theres more interest in College ball today then the pros

Yeah you did post that. It’s one of the stupidest fucking things you’ve ever posted and that’s not an easy bar to clear.
