KJR Free Survivor League

Who participated in the free survivor league? For those who don't know, KJR AM 950 has a free survivor league where the winner gets two tickets to watch the Hawks take on the AFC in the Super bowl. I am still in it with a pick of the Patriots last week, and this week hopefully the Texans come through. If I make it to week 3 I will go with Hawks over jags at home, probably the best pick of the entire season. Anyone else playing?

I'm in a different Survivor league, but I'm saving my Hawks pick for something better than a matchup against the Jags. I actually have Seattle in week 9. Hopefully I survive that long, but I'm confident.

I had the Colts last week and took the Raiders at home this week. Since we can only use each team once, I was hoping to stay in with a bad team vs a terrible team. We'll see??

This is what I've gone with, so far. Thought about the Bengals, but I'm just not sure the Steelers are as bad as I think they are.

NFL survivor leagues are brutal because of the parity in the league. And it is worse in the early season as teams get up to speed at different rates. I just want to make it through to week 4 and then I'll worry about how to navigate the rest.

I'm with you on that. In the beginning of the season I try to pick sure wins and later I'll worry about difficult picks later. Right now there are about 10,000 people left

Looking at DEN or NO week 3, WASH or CIN week 4, and ATL week 5.

Looks like there were nearly 7000 that missed the text window. Thanks to the Raiders W over the Jags, I am still in. Might have to pick against the Jags every week (almost).

well I bet on chip kelly and once again he screwed me. Wasn't enough he beats down my dawgs every season he was here, but now he fails to win and knocks me out of the survivor for the year.

oh well, i'm still in the college survivor and that one is kind of hard to fail at.

The eagles game knocked out 1058 people, next highest looks like it was the Panthers with 132.

I was planning on taking the Saints but after the T Rich trade, I went with the Vikings at home over the Browns. I mean the Vikings havent looked great but I got to think the handle the Browns at home, especially with T Rich now gone.
