If I had to guess, I'd say that his head is too big. Partying, slacking in the classroom and not putting in the work on and off the field. California kid with a famous last name comes to small town USA and feels like a big fish in a small pond and celebrity status.

What he fails to realize is that at the end of the day, nobody gives a shit if you aren't putting in the work. Sooner or later you will be exposed for what you are. A fraud

I am with Dad on this one. Sometimes tough love is needed.

How do you think his Dad feels knowing that his son probably fucked up his grades and hangs out with the wrong crowd? Dad is a public figure trying to build his businesses. He very well could have been talking how kids and athletes can screw up their lives by doing stupid things as part of his business pitch. Lo and behold, then his offspring does the same stuff that he has been saying to his clients NOT TO DO.

If KJJ makes it back, gets his academics in order, plays football or not, in about 12 years, KJJ will realize this was the best thing his Dad could have ever done for him at the time.

We all have made mistakes, KJJ needs to learn from this. Do not pull a Randy Dumbshit Gregory career move.

I cannot argue this one bit. KJJR embraced the limelight and spotlight that came with his last name. With that you also have to accept the "more public" consequences that come with your actions because of your last name.

I agree with all of you and agree with his parenting. If KJJR's dad wasn't Keyshawn Johnson however, none of this would be getting the attention it is.

But again, he embraced the spotlight. If you like the spotlight when things are good then you better be prepared to accept the spotlight when things are bad.
