just got in to watch the game, So far game sucks nothing but commercial for me

There is the difference in the Kings season so far. They get chances in close and can't put the puck in the net. The Leafs get one chance in close and it 1-0 Toronto. I guess we can hope the Maple Leafs streak of 12-0 (or something like that) when they score the first goal ends today.

Well actually that wasn't their first chance in close. The other times Quick was able to bail out his defense. Kings are looking like the team that played last night.

Until this team doesn't make the playoffs I wont be to worried. As usual there are players that just aren't performing and we say it every season even when they won the cups. You know these guys have another gear lets just hope they get a chance to use it...

My suggestion to Sutter would be that on the next Kings power play put the 4th line out. Maybe they'll at least work a little.

Na, he should send the PK unit out. They have been more successful

The problem with that thinking is that they do have to make the playoffs and with play like this on the road they aren't going to make it. The Western Conference is just too tough. These points they're giving away are just as important as those they can get in February and March.

2nd Toronto goal inside the last 30 seconds of the period too. Bad, bad goal to give up.

Sure there is a chance they wont make the playoffs, I voiced my opinion on Richards and Muffin for this reason. But as you all tell me, its too late. Sure the front office might find a deal or fix but they have handicapped themselves and lack what flexibility they could have had

It's not even losing the games that bothers me. It's the complete lack of effort. Especially on the power play. Far too much standing around.

Yes Fox was talking about that and we can all agree as we watch the PP. They stand in place and pass back and forth not getting much movement. You need to make that PK scramble and get tired, that's when you get success

I think they've started believing all that dynasty talk from early in the season. It's either that or they are working to get a nice long summer vacation instead of the short ones they've had the past 3 years.
