The thing I like most is that we are seeing some defense from these guys. They're certainly not going to lead the league defensively, but they are performing better than any of us thought.

If they can maintain mid-tier defense, get D'Antoni's system down to where it's instinct and have Kobe come back at close to normal, they can surprise some folks.

Not saying they can win a title, but they can possibly do better than a 7th seed and first round sweep.

If nothing else, they're a lot more fun to watch than last years team.
