The Kings need to come out and throttle these jabronis from Game 1. Test them, get that losing creep back into their heads from 2014.

Some news on Gaborik and Greene

Sutter's comments on Gaborik: "I'm not God. I'm not a doctor," Sutter said. "I'm closer to a veterinarian than a doctor."

Lombardi's quote which was so awesome and I think he is calling out Gaborik:
"I was shooting here for this week," Lombardi said. "A lot of those injuries — you've got two issues, one being physically stable and then the mental part of it, going out there and getting hit. ... We don't have time for the ginger part — go down there, get hit and see if it's OK. You've got to hit the ground running, so I'm not so sure."

I'm looking at a lot of guys in this series to step up, but mostly to Kopitar and Lucic. We basically traded 3 pieces (Including Jones) to Boston for Lucic, so it would be nice to see him prove it all worth it (Because all we've heard is that he is made for the Playoffs, ala Claude Lemieux back in the day). Kopitar wanted to be paid the 3rd highest salary in the NHL, so I would look to him to be that guy. Quick will be Quick, but that D has never been the same since losing Voynov. I was down on LA's D after 2013, and somehow Muzzin emerged to be a huge part of that 2014 run, so here's hoping that this group picks up the slack on what has looked like a weaker back-end the past few years. Sharks and whoever we may play are gonna run Doughty all day every day, so hopefully that just gets Doughty going and he puts on a show.

It worries me that SJ doesn't really fear LA and have come back on us a few times this year. I also don't care for how much time we spend in the Penalty Box, especially since SJ knows how to make you pay.

Other than that, I feel pretty good with our 5 on 5 play and a team with Quick in net has only lost one Playoff series in the past 4 years (10-1). It's hard to beat that guy 4 times in a series, but we shall see.

Oh and line combinations are always a crapshoot. I was liking that Brown-Andreoff-Clifford line reeking havoc, but based on the LA Kings Insider, Brown is playing with Carter and Toffoli because they don't really trust Andreoff at Center for a full game yet.

Sutter said 8 D are available (In what capacity, I don't know) for tomorrow. Greene and Martinez skated today and the lines looked like 1. Doughty-McNabb 2. Muzzin-Schenn 3. Martinez-Scuderi (I think this would be a more likely #2 line).

Martinez/Greene/Gaborik status not yet known, but at least they're skating.
