Who the hell are they?
Vancouver Canucks(40-16-9), top team in the Western Conference. They be bad.
What the fuck do they want?
Well, they haven't played each other since October, having lost to the Kings 2-1 & 4-1. Lately they have been alternating wins & losses since a 6-0-0 run Jan. 24-Feb. 7. They are looking for a win after a loss to Nashville this past Thursday.
HOT
-Roberto Luongo.
COLD
-The Sedins have no points in their last 3 games. That's a tad unusual for them.
-Alexandre Burrows: no points in his last 5 games, 2 assists in his last 8.
What's our problem?
Quick will be starting in goal after an ass beating of a loss to Detroit this past week. Kings (36-24-4) have a new look with the addition of 6'4" Penner to the top line. This is their 5th game of a 6 game stretch at home, Kings needing every point in this tight race for a playoff spot.
HOT
-Drew Doughty: 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 games.
-Anze f*cking Kopitar: 4 goals and 9 assists in his last 10.
-Brad Richardson: 1 goal and 2 assists in his last 3 games.
-Wayne Simmonds: 3 goals and 1 assist in his last 4 games.
-Jarret Stoll: 2 goals and 1 assist in his last 3.
COLD
-Willie Mitchell does not score many points. He has 1 goal and 0 assists in his last 29 games.
-Alexei Ponikarovski: 1 assist in his last 13 games.
-Rob Scuderi: 1 assist in his last 11 games.
-BTW:
-The Sedins have scored a combined 1 goal and 3 assists in 2 losses against LA this season.
-Dustin Brown has scored 2 goals and 1 assist against the Canucks this season.
-Dustin Penner has scored 1 goal and 2 assists against the Canucks.
-Justin Williams has scored 2 goals against the Canucks.
