Why not? Ive always wondered why the NHL doesn't do more weekend day games.

The kings always play poorly if the game starts before 5 pm.
I think the kids are out in Manhattan Beach on Friday night and still are a little hung over. :yuck:

Haha I go out there all the time. Never seen a King but I heard stories of them in Hollywood. I have seen Matt Lienart 3 different times, each of them he was wasted. I also saw Landon Donovan about a month before the World Cup- also hammered.

It was a very warm 81f/27c day today. Don't know if that had any effect.
I still blame the bars near the beach. Kings usually suck on Saturday afternoons

Kings players and coach whined after the game on the non calls on the second goal. Truth be told, Kings were outplayed but both teams sucked on the PP and should not be proud of this game.

2-1 (OT) to PIT
4-3 (SO) to NYR
3-0 to NYI
7-4 to DET
3-1 to VAN

Three Eastern teams. Two Western teams that are way up at the top. I much prefer losing to these teams than PHX, NSH, CGY, DAL, MIN, and ANA.
