I think I lasted 20 minutes on this episode. This show is almost unwatchable on big stage. Loses all its charm.
Nice surprise blast from the past about an hour in. You may want to watch it.

as someone who has just been watching for a little over a year, i dont think i would appreciate the nostalgia of this shows past... and not sure if i cam watch the whole episode just to watch one specific thing...

if you tell me specific things to watch, i can at least fast forward to watch them... but damn, this show on big stage SUCKS...

if you haven’t seen past episodes, don’t bother.

The crowd was horrible the whole episode as they started booing just about every pull less than 10 seconds into their sets. Even Tony scolded them on multiple occasions (even calling them a bad crowd at one point).

all the big crowds boo... i havent seen a big crowd be a good crowd yet... this show is not built for big stage and big crowd...

sure, tony has to do them because he makes a shitload of money, and as a status it must feel great to be able to fill out these stadiums...

but its just really bad tv... dont think i will spend even 5 minutes next time on a big stage episode...

Todd is probably my favorite GT winner ever. That guy is awesome.

Although, I legit suspect he got the inspiration for that Kermit/Miss Piggy joke from me (I am serious!). I had an interaction with him a few months back on Reddit, and at about that time I posted my own “Miss Piggy has a frog in her throat joke” on the KT sub-Reddit. He delivered it differently than I did, but the base is certainly there.

For the record, I am totally OK with it if he did in fact get the inspiration from me. He is a legit cool dude and I am not doing anything with the joke, so if it helps him get some exposure, all the better.

It’s an old joke. I think I have heard it many times.

What was the whole thing about Anna Mae just wanting a lawsuit? Did I miss something?

Redban was also constantly showing Tony something on the computer. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Best GT winner first set, possibly ever. Ahren Belisle was funny, but there was a lot of “he is funny…. For a…” built into it. Charlie is just flat out hilarious. And he has clearly put in the time. During the interview, I didn’t think it was going to happen, because I figured he was probably already established (there are a LOT of already established acts who get pulled where a GT would almost be an insult), but he seems to be undiscovered. He could be big (pun FULLY intended).

Beyond Charlie (obviously the best of the night), there were a lot of solid pulls tonight. One of the stronger bucket nights ever.

I Dont think GT is ever an insult... thing is KT is a community that makes even OK comics into selling out in shows... even the well established, they are still living typical comedian lives... even the ones doing it full time...

but that is not here or there on this one... Charlie was more than deserving... and that ped0ph1le joke on his book is up there for one of the funniest things i have ever heard...

Damn, I'm like over halfway through and everyone is good and I still haven't even seen Charlie. This could be an all time great episode.

Also, never really saw Carrot top for more than a minute or two but his props for the episode were pretty amazing.

He was there to sell his brand, and ok, whatever. But it did feel like he was shoehorning his jokes in where they didn’t really fit.

surprised he doesnt have a joke book attatched to a shoehorn as one of his props...

but seriously, he is actually pretty funny... which really shouldnt be surprising, he has been one of the most successful comedians of all time... even if he is the brunt of many jokes...

not sure if i would ever see his show... but some of his props are pure genius...
