Kick Off rules

watching on the NFL Network all the rules to kick offs now.

Found out you can only onside kick in the 4th Qtr now.
So what happens if you claim you are gonna Onside kick & then do a pooch kick or some shit, that isnt considered a normal kick.
What are all the perimeters for onside kicks to prevent this?
