I'd rather see Chicago vs AK Bars - last year NHL and KHL champions. And make it a series, please.
Current selection of teams looks very random. Maybe it's just the first step in the right direction.

Well, it isn't nice to call Russia a black hole.
They are being played on October 4th and 6th right before the NHL season starts.
