I don't know. Say what you want about love in CLE, but at the very least, even when he was missing, he gives the cavs excellent spacing/size/rebounding that allows kyrie and lebron to get into the lane.

They can replace love, with a shooter and move LBJ to PF but they lose a lot of things klove can do that a guy like James Jones can't (rebound, pass, etc). I think this is a huge blow, and I think the guy who will struggle the most is Kyrie.

I also think LeBron will start settling for a lot more jumpers.

Definitely. You summed the problem up pretty well. He brought so much spacing to the offense while still being a productive rebounder and play maker.

Its hard to imagine the Cavs matching up with the Western Conf winner without Love, but no need to get ahead of ourselves. They need to be focused 100% on the winner of the Bulls/Bucks.

I guess my point was that even if they get by the bulls/bucks, I don't see them making any serious run at a 'ship. Unless Kyrie steps his game up to a whole new level and LeBron goes 2012 LeBron.

One thing Spo, Riley and Wade did a great job of in Miami that has not transferred in Cleveland is A.) Getting LeBron the ball in the spots where he can be most efficient. B.) Keeping him disciplined/taking good shots.

he has regressed in that regard, and its obvious if you just look at any efficiency stat.

This team is still a title contender. IMO they'll have the best and 2nd best player on the floor against any Eastern conference opponent... and they'll have the best player on the court throughout.

Love was not critical versus Boston's style.....but he is extremely critical versus Chicago.

That Bulls frontline is just too big without Love to stretch it open a bit

Heck they needed JR Smith's 3 point shooting and Loves stretch ability to win once even without Noah playing

It is a nightmare matchup now for Cleveland without 2 critical pieces to open up the Block Party.

They are not going to be able to get to the rim versus all those prolific shotblocking big men.

The Bulls defense is not as good as it was in its heyday.

The games Chicago has won in this series they won primarily because they shot great from the 3 pt line- especially Rose who was i think 13/26 in the first 3 games.

Chicago is beatable.

Its rough for the Cavs because Love is the perfect weapon against Chicago- but they can beat Chicago without him. Love is a loss offensively without a doubt- but the Cavs are lucky they have a guy like Tristan Thompson to step up.
