Georgia sticking around. the bigs on Kentucky not named towns have been pathetic tonight
Kentucky won't win it all
I don't see anyone touching them on a neutral court
I don't know when they're getting eliminated but I'm taking the field
Imo Georgia played scared and to "not lose" the last 5 minutes. Completely changed the way they had been playing. And it cost em in the end. These SEC teams just suck.
Completely stop playing fundamental basketball late in games.
Horrible fucking shot.Corner 3 and he shoots it on top of the fucking hoop.
Safe to say that from the sweet 16 and on, Kentucky will be playing much better teams than any of the teams in the SEC.
The best SEC teams excluding Arkansas are going to be at highest a 8 or 9 seed if they're lucky.
I don't know when they're getting eliminated but I'm taking the field
I do. I know it isn't exactly bold taking the field but I'm not taking them all the way. Since about 80% of brackets will I think we can call it bold enough.
I'm probably booting them sweet16 or elite8 depending on match up. Someone will get hot with some size to match.
Can you name me the teams that fits that description? UK is capable of losing a game. They played pretty poorly last night and that would not have cut it vs a top team. I just do not know of many teams that can match their size. I can think of Texas, but they dont have that kind of offense
As for the the Strength of Schedule. Lot of comments implying a weak schedule. Kentucky currently has th 30th ranked schedule in the country. Virginia is at 28. Duke is the only potential 1 seed with a measurably higher SOS (13). I think I lot of people are forgetting a non-conference schedule that included UNC, Louisville, Kansas, Providence, TExas, and UCLA.Using Lunardi prediction that is a 5 seed, 4 seed, 2 seed, 6 seed, 1st 4 out, and 1st 4 out.
I think you just answered your own question. Any top team that gets hot and can handle having a lead is capable of bringing Kenftucky down. You can have a bad game against UGA and pull out the win.. they just aren't really any good. Can you say the same if you play Duke, Virginia or Wisconsin? Probably not. You walk away with a loss.
