Auction keeper draft, who would you take late round for $1 assuming you're fine at all positions and looking for a cheap keeper for next year before they breakout:

Cordelle Patterson
Aaron Dobson
E.J. Manuel
Emmanuel Sanders

Also what's people hearing on Denard Robinson? I know he's not getting drafted in mocks but I heard the Jags are looking at using him all over the field. Is he worth spending $1 and taking a roster spot?

Saunders is the safe pick for this year.

Dobson is the upside pick for this year.

Patterson is the lottery ticket for the future, but you will have to wait at least a year to reap the benefits. He has the highest long term upside of the 4.

IMO Patterson all the way ..it may take him time to get to be the pick but should be well worth waiting for

Agree with the two above, Patterson has the potential to be the best WR of this rookie class, including Tavon Austin..eventually. BUT, the same thing has been said about guys like Titus Young too, so bear that in mind too. The question is, do you have the space and/or time for that to be realized? Also keep in mind that Patterson is linked to the Vikes QB...be it Ponder or a flashy rookie next year..things could still be dicey at that position in 2014
If you're looking for immediate returns who also have potential to be big stars...My money is on Dobson. If you have the space and patience, than go Patterson.

I'd spend a buck on Denard - I did today, and it's not even a keeper league. He might be nothing, but he might be the kind of something that has other owners complaining to the commish about a RB getting QB stats.

The only thing I've heard so far is that he is seemingly slow to pick up the offense, and since its not coming quite as naturally, he's looking "slow". But...he's definitely a player that I'll have setup to claim off waivers the first time he shows a hint of "getting it"

treff read my mind regarding Robinson.

I'd say it is a toss up between Sanders and Dobson (for this year). Sanders = safer play, but I'm not sure I consider him that much safer than a rookie with upside.

But just like the case against Patterson, Dobson's can go the other way. Brady is an ideal QB for the system that he plays in, whether he throws to TEs or WRs. Everything I've read/seen so far has Dobson at the head of the pack behind Amendola in NWE. With Gronk's injury and Amendola's injury history, I'd roll the dice on Dobson if it was me. Patriots run the most offensive plays, and for a $1 pick up, I like having a potential WR1 on a high scoring offense, compared to the other guys you have mentioned.
Less growing pains with an established QB/system for a young WR.
