Are the Saints considering trading or releasing Kennan Lewis? I heard a rumor to that effect.

He was upset that the last three years of his contract weren't guaranteed I think. They got it worked out

There were lots of rumors circulating for a while there about almost everyone on the Saints roster being available. I would have taken Lewis at the right price, but he has too much value to your defense, imo, to trade away for anything less than a 3rd round pick. I would have taken Stills for that 3rd rounder that Miami gave up, something tells me there must be more to the story, because Stills seems like a promising young deep threat, and not a player to deal away.

Brees didn't like Stills. And that was just a scare tactic to the locker room by Payton. Lewis got upset at first over the Graham trade but he calmed down.
