Pittsburgh is top 10 (barely) in offense and defense,
Kansas City is 13th on scoring offense - 24th in defense yards allowed.
Roethlisberger or Alex Smith?
We have beat the Steelers this year and both teams last year - but
We play our best games the 1st time we face a team or after a loss to that team (usually)
Thoughts?????

KC... Much better D but unlikely to blow us out (2 years ago notwithstanding) if we start slow and make some mistakes early on. I think we can come back better.

If Pittsburgh gets ahead of us with a decent lead, I'm not sure we catch up.

Also Pitt can keep the Pats offense off the field, if Bell gets going. If this defense is on the field to long like any defense it will start getting torched. To much firepower on Pitt.

KC yes has firepower but Smith is running it, he is not Big Ben. And there defense is tough but again can be picked apart it has been a few games this year. People seem to forget that Texans coaching staff knew how to put a good gameplan on defense, they have all been here and know the ins and outs, and sometimes M cDaniels is predictable. And that stuff about coming out of byes well that is twice this year coming out of a bye they looked terrible for awhile during the game.

Whoever it is, doubt they will look like last night, next week. BB will have alot to go over this week, and Brady well, he won't want to look like that again, the fire is burning even bigger and brighter knowing one more win and it is the SB. Lets go Pats.

Tough to pick your poison but I say I'd rather play Pit.

Pit will put up points no doubt. But Big Ben hasn't been the big Ben of old he'll turn it over. Weather could play a factor and I think if Pit goes run heavy NE will have a defensive plan to contain Bell. As much as Ben can stretch the field TB will expose the back end of tge Steelers. STs small edge to NE.

KC so much balance. Smith is a sneaky good runner, the kind of QB that gives NE trouble. Kelce is a matchup nightmare. Good thing for NE is they have pracrice going against Gronk. Not as an explosive offense like Pit but plenty good enough to keep them in the game. Defensively Houston is a man child. NE needs to keep him off of Brady. Solid D. STs Tyreek is the difference maker. Lots to game plan for NE.

Regardless NE will be ready for their first real test in a while. So glad they're at home. I predict the opening line is NE -6.5 regardless of team.

Steelers it is. KC's defense kept them out of the end zone tonight but they got close enough to win it with field goals. If Patricia's gang can at least match KC, I see another SB coming up. If the Pats play like they did against the Texans, Big Ben will be going to Houston. In looking ahead (hopefully) I am really concerned about the Packers. Rogers gives me acid flashbacks to Eli Manning in our two SB losses. Hope Blount is hitting on all cylinders next weekend. A one dimensional offense against the Steelers D is not a winning formula.

NE played terrible. Watching the Pitt KC game. I feel good going into next weekend. I think NE does the same thing to the Steeler offense. I'm hoping TB12 and company have a better day.

NE and ATL
