The Clippers, bringing aboard JErry West and Lee Jenkins seems to have paid off. All of the assets they have gathered over the past couple years were used in a massive trade that is a huge huge overpay, but to put Kawhi and George together you had to do it. 2 guys in their primes on "max" contracts, but not super maxs.
