Yeah, which works too. They have their own 1sts as well. So, instead of Russ for picks, they gave up Russ and a couple of protected 1sts for a couple of pretty good young players. They'd still be sitting on 8 unprotected 1sts and the young players they added from the two deals. So what if their team sucks the next couple of years, just gives them lottery picks, cap space and a whole bunch of extra 1sts when they start to get better
