If I make tasteless jokes about others horrible situations I'd make sure my name was plastered all over it.

For context, at least 4, possibly many more, people died in the floods:

Flash flooding in Texas has killed at least four, left 30 missing and exposed San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as one of the most clueless athletes ever to use social media.

Kaepernick, who of late has taken to promoting himself with the hashtag #7tormsComing, used that very same one Tuesday in an Instagram post about the deadly Texas floods featuring a photo showing dozens of cars submerged under water.

"I warned you the #7tormsComing !!! #Houston," Kaepernick wrote, either unaware or unconcerned of the human suffering and damage caused by the killer storm.

The online backlash was quick and ruthless against Kaepernick, who quickly deleted the post and sent the requisite apology tweet within minutes.

"No disrespect intended! Prayers up!” Kaepernick wrote amid the onslaught of criticism.

NFL teams should start putting a clause in their contract offers, no Twitter , Instagram, etc. to players.

Players Union would never let that happen.

And fans would be ripped off of a lot of free entertainment.

Maybe, or maybe they could see the wisdom in it.

In fairness, Kaepernick's apology:

Colin Kaepernick said:
I'm so sorry about my insensitive post earlier today. I didn't fully understand how many people are struggling in Houston right now and I feel horrible. My prayers are with everyone there.

I am sure he does feel bad about it, since there are like 15 dead in Texas and Oklahoma flooding. But he is still a moron.
