I don't think anyone was threatened by Douchernick. Maybe there was some stomach rumblings before Sherman made him his bitch.
49ers need a new QB. And they are in their best interest to lose out and get the next best thing from Notre Dame since Montana.
Kap has actually played ok.....the defense lost this game they are severely lacking in talent and just plain bad.
WTF? Kaep wasn't playing defense, allowing 40-plus points. He actually played pretty good.
Based on what? Leading the 49ers to the fewest points of the season thus far?
They converted 3 third downs and two of them were on the final drive in the last 4 minutes of that blowout.
I liked Kaep's athleticism when he runs, but really that was it. He was way off on his throws, especially to start the 2nd half. Outside of the underthrow to Torrey Smith when the D completely lost him, he was 12-28 for 135 yards.
Fuck losing out. Colts lost out for Luck. We played to win and ended up with Wilson. I'd take our fate over the Colts.
He was bound to be a little rusty....he was 13 of 29 for 187 yards, with a TD and a 77.8 PR. In comparison Gabbert's QBR is like 69. He didn't have any TO's and ran 8 times for 66 yards. He was going against a really good D.
If Gabbert was playing I think it could have been even uglier.

Yeah his numbers weren't the worst. His throwing the ball was pretty awful though. Like I said, the only reason SF got in the end zone was the D completely left Smith open and Smith came back for a big time underthrow.

Apples and oranges. Seattle had a defense before adding Wilson. Colts didn't lose out for Luck, they lost out because they were god awful.
