But we have seen the decline of Justin Verlander around the time he started dating Kate Upton. So it begs the question if Rory can suddenly start winning everything after he split with Caroline why can't (or should) Verlander dump Upton?

I am a little torn on this since I do think it IS the curse of Upton but then there is the whole innings he has pitched in years passed which I think really has screwed with him as of right now. After all he is possibly needing Tommy John.. Or at least going in for an MRI

This whole "experiment" could be resolved IF Upton would just "blu-ball" this losah for a few weeks and see IF the win total starts piling up. Then we would all know.
