Ok, the scUM scandal is heating up again. connor evidently was interviewed again.

Mich. desperately tried to self discipline by giving Moore a 2 game suspension (what fucking good do these do, I mean really???) and curious its for games 3 & 4. A good OC and DC can take care of the team in these situations. you want to impress anyone? suspend the HC, OC, and DC........... Oh, and I thought "mich. did nothing wrong", so why are they self imposing penalties???

anyway, what are the option penalties/discipline on the table? Especially since we are now in the world of NIL and transfer portals?

- do scholarship reductions mean anything anymore?
- coach suspensions............ ho hum.
- bowl bans?
- vacated wins?
- fines?

I am not sure you can seperate the advance scouting from wins accumulating during that time period.

Stallions had a whole operation in action and had friends and family go to opponents games and record signs. Apparently it was widespread and even involved SEC teams as well.

Weiss and Stallions scemes have to be related because they were both deceptive in nature and involved some sort of stealing. Weiss was database hacking and Stallions was sign stealing in person (or with a crew). I don't think college football has seen 2 coaches on the same staff be involved with something this elaborate. For example, name another time a coach dressed in costume and went to another teams sideline?

The only real option is to vacate ALL wins from the season(s) where the violations occured. You have to assume other teams were at a disadvantage either through the efforts of Stallions or Weiss (seems like Stallions mostly as Weiss began focusing on criminal activity). That being said, in order to serve as a deterrent, you have to vacate the title.

Honestly, I bet the NCAA has found more on this and it will eventually come out. Michigan fans claiming this isn't a big deal and that other teams were involved in similar behavior is absurd.
