Normally I wouldn't mind, but that just might go down as the lamest fight of the year. :p

I don't think that was a dirty hit by Thornton, but like other people have said, that's the kind of hit the NHL is looking to get rid of. I won't be upset if he gets a game or two.

My guess with Colin Campbell is that Thornton will either be suspended for 7 games, or he'll somehow get a 3% raise to his contract.

No one wants to fight Joe Thornton... we all know his propensity for choking, and if it were to happen during the fight you would be known as the guy who killed a dude during a hockey game.

Suicide pass, Thorton popped him. Never raised his elbow or anything like that but because he's so much more taller his shoulder hit his head. Blindside? Yes, suspension? Complete BS. JMO.
