"I think a lot of talk has been made about how physical a defense is, and I know that can have an effect on the offense," Thomas said Wednesday, per Mike Klis of The Denver Post. "But I don't think that their defense is so much more physical than some defenses we've played."

CDumler, come get your boy, he's talking crazy!

And PS: No way this doesn't get mentioned week 3 as Kam Chancellor does this again. http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3948341/kamhit2_medium.gif

Meh, boring content in the off season is boring.

Nothing he said is shocking or outrageous. He said we lost more because of what we did (or didn't do) more than what they did to us. There is some truth there as they clearly came out with no rhythm and didn't match the energy on the other side at all.

How much of it was their not playing up to their ability vs how much Seattle threw them off? Well that's debatable, but the truth is it was some of both and the combination really threw them into a hole they couldn't begin to climb out of.

Weird how lucky Seattle was to have 19 games in a row this year where the other team "just had an off day" "Didn't bring the emotion needed" "Kept making mistakes"

LOL

Well put. Seattle was the best team in the league last year. Congrats.

Thomas thinks that Denver is a better team than they showed they were in the SB. I suspect that all of his teammates think the same thing. No reason for that to offend anyone.

Oh I'm not saying he was entirely wrong, but just a predictable response. It's actually quite a bit easier to deal with you having an off day than to accept you got boat raced by another team isn't it?

Every team will feel like losses were more on them than what the other team did to them, but that's how they prepare for these anyway. It's always about what we can/should do more than worry over the other team so that when you do lose it has to boil down to what you didn't get done, not what the other team did.

I understand why the reporter made the headline the way he did, but I didn't see anything he said as anything disrespectful or unexpected.

Kind of funny he said that given the way Kam unloaded on him that play. That one tackle really set the tone for the entire game. The Broncos lost because this was their absolute nightmare match-up. This isn't the team you can hope to beat by throwing the ball 40+ times into that secondary.

It wasn't the greatest hit ever, but my goodness, he knocked him back 5 yards. He felt it.

"Pretty Good" is a good way to put it.

It wasnt a knock out,,,,but it didnt get flagged either. It set the tone, let denver know they might get catchs but they were gonna get smoked every time. Now what kam has done to vernon davis on the other hand those were knock out blows, im sure someone has the gif.... Also clean too btw. See nfl defenders it can be done.

Got to love hits like that, don't you think? Especially now a days when the NFL seems to want to turn the game into flag football. Now it may not rate "great hit" but looking back at Super Bowls for the last ten years, it may be the best hit for the last decade. I could be wrong, I'm getting old, so maybe I'm forgetting some "great hits", if so, put up some Y tube for us.

Kam definitely brings the pain, but some of Dashon Goldson's hits were nasty

Can't say anything bad about Goldson. He was a hell of a player at UW.

"Pretty Good" is a good way to put it.

1. That's about as hard as you can hit someone in todays NFL
2. It sent him back 5 yards
3. It was a statement that if they're going to run these flat routes over the middle then they're going to get tagged every time.

Kam's spectacular hits usually end up being 15 yards and an apology from the league the next day for being flagged on a legal hit. This is one of his run of the mill hits.
