Looks like they are finally righting the ship in Florida. Normally he would've been thrown right into the middle of things and his development would've lacked as a result.

Yeah, not surprised to see RNH getting at least nine games - Of course, the Oil may have to keep him for the season due to injury issues.

i really hope he doesnt end up like another lower mainland kid in the news today (Creme Brule) who ended up getting broken in half during his first NHL season

THIS!!!

RNH is a significant talent but the kid ain't physically ready for top 6 NHL duty.

Am I the only one who can just see Ryan Getzlaf throwing RNH into the 8th row like a javelin?

I hope it works out for the kid, but he needs to start piling on some muscle mass. An 82 game sched in the NHL won't make that easy.

I wonder if RNH caught the number of that truck that hit him Saturday night at Rogers Arena...

Oreskovich steamrolled him, and somehow Theo Peckham ended up fighting Lapierre because of it.

Thanks puck.

And generally speaking any excuse to fight (and beat the crap out of) Lapierre is a good one.

Yup, I sure am happy. Anyone cheering for Team Canada at the World Juniors should be too. Although the Panthers might have let him play anyway. He certainly tempted the Panthers by being 1 of their leading scorers in the pre-season but he needs to mature physically first. I can see him making the big club next year as a 19 year old. Can't wait for Saturday night for his 1st game back.

speaking of pleased to have a player back, I was at the Vancouver Giants game today,
and Brendan Gallagher had 5 points (3G 2A) in a 5-1 win over Victoria.
the kid is just at another speed as everyone else.

and best of all, everyone at the game got free Sliders from Whitespot for the hat trick :hungry:
It was funny to see the healthy scratches from the teams race down after the game to get their Sliders coupon, too.
