We don’t have a forum for Podcasts, but I think Podcasts are almost becoming the TV shows, so I guess this belongs here…

Anyway, this is probably the only podcast I listen to all the time (I consider Kill Tony an actual TV show). Often, I think his guests are interesting enough to spark some convo here. Let’s just try to avoid the political angles…

Yesterday, he had George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell on. Knapp is generally considered the top UFO journalist going. I don’t think I had ever heard of Corbell before.

I don’t know what to make of the senate hearings. The apparent media blackout was puzzling. If true, this is the biggest story in the history of mankind, and it basically caused crickets in the news. I suspect that the “conspiracy theory” reputation of the subject matter over the last 80 years has conditioned journalists to avoid the story?

Good conversation, but Penn came across as an absolutely uneducated boob. JRE and Tulsi were treating him like a child half the time. I think Penn has truly good intentions for Hawaii, but he is simply out of his depth.

That is a bad run. Disclaimer, I don’t watch/listen to his MMA episodes, and when he has comics on, I don’t expect anything, so I only casually listen. Those are just Joe hanging out with his friends.

Not a fun listen.

I listen to a few of his podcasts. I’ll probably give that one a listen. I tried listening to all of them, but some of the topics don’t interest me and some people just go on to promote their brand with a new crowd they don’t understand and it gets annoying.

Musicians are typically snoozefests. But sometimes they are great. Jelly Roll was great. I didn’t know much about him before that ep, and I came out REALLY liking him. Joe also had the “Rich Men from Richmond” guy on, WHILE that song was blowing up. Kinda a dull episode, but the timeliness of it was good.

As I said earlier, I skip his MMA shows, and the shows with comics kinda make me feel like I am eavesdropping. I have begun to skip some of his shows with his nutrition, exercise and hunting friends. It just turns into a circle jerk.

But I love when he has scientists, journalists, politicians, conspiracy nuts, or something completely different on. Those tend to be fascinating listens.

Long-ass episode today (4:30), but interesting concept. He has a Graham Hancock opponent on WITH Hancock. I have been waiting for essentially this episode for quite some time. Unfortunately, this guy seems a bit if a doofus. He decided to show up on the biggest (second biggest??) podcast in the world while wearing his dad’s suit and wearing an Indiana Jones hat. Bad first impression.

I look forward to the debate, though.
