Has there been a better story in the NFL this season?

He has been awesome, and it couldn't happen to a better guy.

Agreed! The guy has been awesome, IMO! I'm very jealous actually! Can we have him when Cutler comes back?

The dude has some serious chemistry with BM and AJ too! I'm not sure id want to slow that train down, frankly!

I like the story. He got lucky that he didn't have about 4 picks tonight but he also made some really good throws/runs in the game. You're still better with Curler, IMO.

I saw him throw a ball in the end zone that should have been picked. Guess I missed the (about) other three.

Best backup in the league, and part of that is knowing his place.

There is no QB controversy in Chicago...only in the media.

I'm not gonna post 3 gifs to prove it to you. Just take my word for it.

Definitely had a few he'd like back. It was a cold ass nite, and D players would be on O if they could catch, soo.....definitely one that shoulda been picked...the one in the endzone, B. Marshall actually did a good job of getting a hand on it and knocking it out of the defenders hands.

McCown has done something a Bears QB hasnt done in decades. 1 INT in seven games, and the 1 he did throw was like a Hail Mary pass at the end of the game.

we wouldn't have thought he could be that good before the GB game. We all had doubts he could even make a long throw let alone alot of accurate ones.

I don't think anyone expected him to do what he's done. Manage the game? Sure. Do what he's done. No way.

I couldn't be more impressed with him.

Yeah, every chance the team and organization has gotten, they've IMMEDIATELY shut down the "QB Controversy" questions.

Not; "Well, we'll have to wait and see and re-evaluate when Jay is healthy". Just, very bluntly; "Jay Cutler is our QB". I like that. Shows the team is united together in that. Even Josh McCown.

Good win tonight.

That's all I hope for the rest of this season.

I want the three remaining games to be meaningful, and I want to see the offense continue to grow. That's all. Just have some fun.

He really has a strong arm. I was impressed with him tonight.

Yeah, that's the one thing no one expected.

It's funny, the whole scouting report on him was; "Well, we all know he doesn't have the strongest arm... etc... etc..."

I've been shocked at times when he's turned it loose and let it fly.

Although, Cutler's arm is stronger, and he also has a far quicker release. If McCown was playing behind the Bears line last season, he'd probably be in a bit of trouble. A bit of a long arm slot.

DBs are Dbs for a reason they are not WRs. They can't catch.
Jay usually has 2 or 3 of those lucky breaks as well per game.
It's when the DBs actually catch the ball, when QB looks bad.
Jay 8 ints. Josh 1.

You're completely overstating that. Jay doesn't have anymore of those than any other QB. McCown made quite a few poor throws tonight, got away with some stuff. Not that Jay hasn't in the past.

Yeah, of course McCown has 1 INT vs Cutler's 8. LOL... Look at the defenses he played against. WSH, GB, STL, MIN, and DAL. Not to mention, Cutler has played TWICE as much football as McCown.

Those are arguably 4 of the 5 worse defenses in football along with ourselves. STL being the only NFL defense, and even they're not good. Josh did a real good job in his time here of finding open guys, reading defenses, and not taking too many chances.

Can't wait to see what Jay can do. This offense might actually start to light up the scoreboard versus real defenses.
