Its none of baseball's business. they are in the entertainment business, nothing more. This is only the beginning, folks. The Lynch mob is is out in full force.
I saw none of the tweets. I really don't give a shit what he says on twitter. It does not surprise me in the least.I saw the rest of the tweets. I was just asking what was wrong about his Trayvon tweet. That one wasn't actually bad
Those SJW twitter fags that just look for bad things famous people said on twitter need to get a real life. This is only the beginning, folks. The Lynch mob is is out in full force.
Yep- these are not politicians. They're baseball players. Own it and we can move on. Shouldn't be hard.good lord. It's stupid stuff to say, but why should we (or MLB teams) care about something they said 6 years ago?
No- it's not really their job to have the confidence of 100% of their following, though it is advantageous to them and their pocketbook if they are decent people; and don't make dopey teenage tweets to be edgy for teenage cliques. Is that really a crime?
You would think so with all this uproarIs that really a crime?
Especially when you've been pretending to feel otherwise publicly all your life.Everyone regrets being caught doing something foolish.
It cracks me up how apologetic they are all when they get caught. "It doesn't represent who I really am" they all say. The fuck it doesn't. People always say what they really feel when they think they are anonymous.
As for blaming it on being a kid, one tweet was from 2016 concerning the Travon Martin shooting. Now I'm not saying what he said wasn't true but at least own it when you get caught.
The kid said some dumb things in his youth but most of us have.
I see it as just the opposite. When you grow up and actually experience how fucked up certain groups of people really are, then you know the real deal. The problem is you are required to keep silent about it lest you lose your job. Consequently nothing gets better.Or as a kid you are a product of your environment and once you grow up and branch out and experience different types of people you aren't the same teenager who says the same stuff. You can completely say this is a non issue and people looking for something to get pissed off about.
