My initial post didn't quote anything or anyone regarding Mahomes. It was a response to the thread title/op, which is about Josh Allen getting paid. In spite of his awful AFC title game.

except mahomes will see more of his money from his contract than Allen. it's like a 1/2 a billion dollar contract. per year sure it shows Allen paid more. But he will have to be extended at some point to cover those costs.

Unless completely shits the bed Mahomes will be a bargain in 2 years. It will be interesting to see how he plays it when he's paid less than 26 other QB's. Only reason I'm not saying 32 other QB's is there will always be some guys on rookie deals starting.

I wonder if he will think I have a 1/2 billion dollars & go the way Tom Brady & allow the chiefs to use that money to surround him with better players instead of squeezing them for more later on.
Guarantee the way the NFL is going, in 6 years he will be considered under paid as hard as that to imagine. Since they are all way overpaid. Wonder what year he will try to renegotiate. (or will he)

If he finishes out that deal quietly he will help the Chiefs out tremendously. If so maybe a few other QB's will see the light.
