What's his shtick against Texas P5 programs, or theirs against him?
Looks like he could play for Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU, or Texas Tech. Being close to home must not be important to him.

South Oak Cliff is 5A. The only higher class is 6A.

South Oak Cliff finished (7-3) which is 23rd in the Top 25 in Class 5A rankings (statewide) last season.
That tells me he wasn't surrounded by a ton of talent.

Really though... Name a better back to come out of TX in the last 10 years. Production wise I'm not sure, but in terms of the best in the NFL he is it.

His class had an Oklahoma recruit, two Texas Tech recruits, and a Boise State recruit plus the three guys that used to be committed to Wisconsin.
So seven big time recruits in his class.

The other two Wisconsin recruits were dumped during the coaching change. I'm not sure if it was because of concerns over admissions or the new staff just didn't like them. Both of them were 2-3 star guys who were recruited for their pure speed...they were both 4.3-4.4 guys who were going to run track.
The Oklahoma recruit was a 4 star who had offers from about half of the top programs, including Nebraska. The two Texas Tech guys were 3-4 star recruits who had a ton of offers but likely went to follow their high school coach. Both of them actually had Nebraska offers as well.

To me running back is the most difficult position to project. If we get him, great. But I'm more interested in going head to head with Bama for their most coveted position.
Him visiting Bama right after is no bueno. At least the weather was decent this weekend if you like heat. Sounds like he's here through Monday.
It's worth noting that they just reeled in a 5 star RB this year.
