Jonathan Williams joins Broncos PS

Really really like this move.

Bills cut him after winning the #2 RB job, they went with two special teams RB's and Mike Tolbert as the backup instead.

Great career at Arkansas, cut a year short via injury.

If he can overcome the injury bug he has a shot. Can play FB as well. 5th round pick of the Bills a year removed from a knee injury that cost him his SR Year. Good PS guy here. Excited about this move.

Very nice signing - IMO. These guys are always getting injured - better to have more than fewer. I did think his cut by the Bills was odd - but I don't think it was a personnel or personal issue.

Notice he didn't sign with the Bills, PS... Had to have been upset after earning the #2 job. That and maybe more money offered.

Good idea to get a RB on the PS with 3 of our 4 RB's having some injury concerns. I think we picked up Boom Williams before cuts to see if he was worthy of the PS but found out he was not.

Think that would be smart move. With Charles durability still unknown, Booker and Henderson still unproven/health concerns and JW performances when given opportunities plus he's can get you those tough yards......might just be very significant acquisition if in a.

I don't know anything about this guy but I do want someone who can play FB on the PS. But I'm also worried about OLB depth. We've got DeMarcus Walker in that roto on the depth chart. To me that's a gamble. He looked all right doing it against scrubs but I don't recall him doing anything in preseason from the OLB spot that impressed me. And we have Dora just floating around out there. So...how guilty should I feel for thinking we can always open up a roster spot anyway by dumping Max Garcia though?

I thought Dora was going to make the roster after the first PS game... After that, I was a bit leary.

OK, I thought Mount and Garcia-Williams were both inside guys. Mount is 6'5" 253 lbs so if he can play OLB then that's some depth. I thought Dora was a lock for our PS after cuts were announced. I guess not.

I just now started watching some video of him. So far he reminds me of CJ Anderson.

My guess is Booker is the target here. Optics would look bad if top offensive draft picks from 2016 are in trouble 1 year in.
