I agree, but if Roger doesn’t want anyone else drug down, maybe even himself, the NFL will pay Gruden for his silence.

Of course if Gruden did safe emails and is threatening to release them if not paid, the NFL could sue him for bkackmail. Of course this will still force the emails to be released.

I guess it's strong to say that I'm rooting for him. But I wouldn't be upset if he succeeded. If Gruden gets smacked down by the NFL's lawyers, Which is what I think will happen, I won't be upset either.
