22pts, 8 rebounds vs. a team from London. Not a bad start for a kid fresh out of high school. Me thinks we've got a good one here.

He hit something like 5 3 pointers. I realize it's just a team in London but it gives me hope.

I was not as enthused after I read both Iowa and London did not really play their best players, so Jok had a great game against the JV team...today the starters will play, apparently it was designed that way to get the youngest players a lot of playing time.

Who would start over Jok.....McCabe? Or are they moving Marble back to the 2 with Jok backing him up? The team sure has a lot of guards this year.

I think Jok needs defensive work before he starts -- I could be wrong

Yep, hit over 100pts again. I know Jok had 8 at halftime so likely another big game for him.

Franzilla is working his magic in getting this team to gel before hitting the regular season. Getting these younger players some experience...ahem..Kirk..take note...will go along way when it's time to get this top 25 team going.

he doesn't have that choice this year, we have a JC transfer, a Soph and a RS Freshman, and a true Freshman who I think they will redshirt...going to be interesting, I say run Jake out there til he sucks, then put in Sokol...treat the MO State game as an NFL preseason game and let all 3 play

You think he would have figured some shit out after game 10...I'm usually an upbeat Hawkeye fan but last year turned me off. JVB had no business being in there...hopefully KF learned something from last years debacle...after 4 losses in a row does it really matter if you lose? You're 4-6, season lost, get some kids some experience...fuck JVB, he's gonna be a banker somewhere

I think we all felt that way, really I wonder why he didn't try Jake, it was a huge mistake on his part to me...unless he just gave up, which I wouldn't doubt...said ok, we suck not even going to try to get to 6-6 so let the seniors play it through and call it a day. That is what pisses me off about the salary he gets, you have to try something and he failed to do so.

Ferentz's worst attribute is in fact Loyalty. Through thick or thin, he'll stick with you. Hey KF, this isn't a PRO team where the highest paid guy gets the spot. You need to put the best player on the field, freshman or senior it makes no difference.

Is clock management an attribute? Because that's what he's the worst at, hands down. Re-watch the Warren Holloway LSU game again and notice how flustered and confused Ferentz is on the sideline before that play was called. I think it took a solid 45 seconds from the previous play to the time the ball is snapped. Don't even get me started on the JVB at OSU game a few years ago either, my blood BOILS just thinking about it.
