Despite their OL's horrific preseason, I feel they'll somehow come out with the 2nd best record in our division

The combination of their OL and QB is going to doom them and I see them competing with the Rams for the bottom.

The only thing that will keep them from being completely horrible is Fitz and the fact their defense is shaping up to be pretty decent.

That amounts to a death sentence. That may be the worst OL in the league. Hell, Adam Snyder is probably their second-best player.

One of the ESPN bloggers picked them to win the division. I don't see how. Their D has some talent, but that offense, other than Fitz, looks like one of the worst in the league. Even with Fitz it looks like a bottom-10 unit.

Well I'm 1 for 2. I figured Skelton would start, but I thought Flynn would start in Seattle.

By the way, this is for everyone who wanted Kevin Kolb (or McNabb):

What is also quite interesting about this development is how the league (GMs) will view these one hit wonders in the future. We have seen Cassel, Kolb and now Flynn show what appeared to be a high degree of potential only to fall way short of meeting those expectations, at least thus far.

Even Schaub looks more and more like a system QB, though he's been better than the rest. But as long as QB is the most important position, teams will take chances to fill it.

You can add Vince Young to that as well

Well, Young would be the greatest QB of all time if he had Matt Jones as his primary receiver. :heh:

I would argue the Michael Vick experiment was a failure as well despite very short stretches of greatness (which is all you ever got from him).

I think Lindley is the best QB on their team.

I just don't see how they can be good. The OL is too important. If the OL isnt' working, you can't run or throw. I can't think of an OL that's even close to as bad as theirs is. Sendlein and Snyder are the cream of the crop. That's awful.

Not saying that Cassel has shown franchise QB play but his 2010 season of 27TD 7 Int and a QB rating of 93, should be an Ideal expectation.

Excellent Point, Jay - he did do that in 2010. Speaking of Cassel - did you see his TD celebration vs. Seattle? Fricken hilarious, I've never seen anything quite like it.
