John Hynes: Training Camp

Couple of things worth nothing.

1. I knew his was a young head coach, but didn't realize that he's 3 years YOUNGER than Jagr.
2. Apparently he's the most active head coach during practice that TG's ever seen.

I like it. This team isn't talented enough to take bad penalties.

The bad penalties have been a continuation from last season. The first two pre season games, way too many unnecessary lazy penalties. Good for Hynes.

Was at the Shero briefing last night and he mentioned Hynes was making players pay a price (non-financial) for taking lazy penalties in practice. Accountability...love it!

Agree. I hope they keep the kid I like what I'm seeing and I don't know how much benefit he'll get from another year in juniors. That's a problem with thy system, he'd definetly get more out of time in the AHL playing against bigger, older guys but its not really an option
